Should you take probiotics?

I've started taking probiotics, and I have to say that I feel a lot better. I've always had trouble with my stomach which is why I'm living a low carb lifestyle, but the probiotics has helped my stomach even further. 

So what are the benefits of taking probiotics? 

Digestion is actually one of the largest energy consumers in the body and will steal your energy when unbalanced. When your gut is unbalanced, it is harder for you to digest foods causing your body to use more energy in the process. This is one of the top causes of fatigue, bloating and weight gain. I had all these symptoms before I started taking probiotics. My mood has also changed for the better since I don't feel dragged down all the time.

Another sign, beside fatigue, that your gut might be unhealthy is your skin. If your skin is aging faster than it should, or you have dry skin, acne or eczema, it might be a sign of an unhealthy gut.

As you know, I try to get all my nutrition in the way of food, but this is one supplement that has worked for me.
