Keeping life simple

I believe keeping life simple is a big contributor in having a quality of life. Life nowadays can feel overwhelming with long work hours and a lot of to-do's at home, which is why I'm always looking for ways of making things simple.

One thing I always do when I have large projects that needs to be tackled at home is to break them into smaller units. That way you can complete a big project by only spending 30 minutes on it at a time. Another thing that I like about this approach is that it feels less overwhelming when I look at a 30 minute task vs. cleaning an entire garage, so it's much easier to get started and finish the task.

I use the same approach for fun things that I like to incorporate into my life. For example, reading books. Reading is one of the tasks that usually falls to the bottom of my list because I don't have 30 minutes or an hour to read, so I read for 15 minutes a day. That way I don't have to give up reading, and it's enough time to get through a chapter every day.

Need to clean the garage? Try this approach.
