Mindfulness on vacation

We are back from vacation in Sweden. It was amazing. We spent as usual time with the family and a lot of time out in nature taking walks and fishing . I completely unplugged. I didn't bring my phone with me anywhere, and I didn't log on to the blog even once. I'm surprised at how easy it was. I didn't get stressed about what I might be missing (which I've done in the past), or what I should be working on. I completely recharged the batteries. I actually feel more refreshed than ever. I think one of the reason is that I tried to practice mindfulness the entire trip.

Regardless if we were having a coffee break with friends or we walking in the woods, I lived in the moment and appreciated every second. I kept on saying thank you non-stop. Thank you for being able to spend time with the family, thank you for the beautiful view etc etc. As I would hold my four year old nephews hand I would live in the moment and really feel his hand, and say thank you. As I'm writing this I can feel hit little hand in mine. I'm going to do my best to keep this relaxing feeling and continue practicing mindfulness as I get back to the daily routine and work.

Here are some pictures from Sweden. I miss it already.

Every time we went out in the woods I kept on touching stones and trees and taking in the energy around me.

This picture is taken at 1 am. Stunning.
