Tell the truth and get unstuck

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Getting healthy and changing your mindset can be frightening and emotionally painful. I have a Client who is struggling to stay on track. She keeps on falling back into unhealthy habits. Many of us have been there. I have for sure. That feeling when we feel like we are fighting for our life and not getting anywhere. We know what we are suppose to eat, but somehow it is impossible to stick to the plan. And the more time that passes by without seeing any results, the more discouraged we get. It's brutal and mentally draining. 

That is when I like to call a truth-timeout. That's when you need to sit down and tell yourself the truth. The brutal truth. There is a reason why you are not sticking to the plan, and deep down you know that reason. Tell the truth, so that you can become healthy. Food is emotions. 

Once you have figured out your truth, then you need to be kind to yourself. Nurture the fear with attention, and not food. Trust in the process and you will be successful.
