Discover yourself again

Today is Monday, which means I met with Emma this morning. We spent most of our meeting talking about discovering yourself, and how that is a major part of your health journey. When you start eating healthy you will often try new foods you've never tried before, and it can take some time to try all different vegetables and new recipes. But you also need to take time to figure out what makes you happy and what makes you sad. What do you like to do in your free time, and what things do you dislike? What friends make you happy and give you energy, and what friends bring you down? What exercises do you like, and which ones do you dislike? Often when we have been stuck in a rut, we have forgotten what we like and what we want.

When you live a Stellibell life you focus on the things in life that brings you happiness, and get rid of the things that don't. You deserve the best in life. When you get rid of the negative things in life and focus on the good things, it will also be easier for you to focus on your health. 

Emma has been neglecting herself and has made it a habit of doing things she doesn't like in order to make other people happy. This is not an easy habit to break, but we will break it. Emma is going to start practicing to say no to things she doesn't want to do and prioritize herself. She is also going to phase out friends that are not looking out for her best. This is not an easy task, but by starting to say no, her friends are going to slowly start realizing that they can't push her around anymore.

In the meeting today, we also listed a lot of new vegetables Emma has never tried before and that will be her homework to include them into her menu this week. She is also going to only do things that makes her happy. I love this step in the journey to health, and I can't wait to hear from Emma how the week goes.

Find a quiet spot and think about what makes you happy, what you like etc. Take the time to discover yourself.
