I can’t forget to give you this favorite! Here is the recipe for the Candid Pecans we always make for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Ingredients
2 tablespoons salted butter
3 cups pecan halves
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon kosher salt or sea salt
Direction
Prepare by spreading parchment paper on a baking sheet
Melt the butter in a frying pan and add the pecans. Toast the pecans lightly.
Add the brown sugar and stir until it melts and starts to caramelize
Sprinkle in the cinnamon and stir to mix in
Spread out the pecans on the parchement paper and let sit until they cool
Break up the pecans and put them in a bowl to serve
