Clean Eating and LCHF recipe - Oven Baked Fish with Garlic Sauce

Oven Baked Fish with Garlic Sauce is a great fish recipe you can make into a Clean Eating or LCHF recipe depending on your lifestyle. To make the recipe LCHF, serve the fish with a green salad instead of potatoes.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds potatoes
  • 1 ½  pounds tilapia
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tps pepper
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 yellow pepper

Sauce

  • 1 cup of Greek yogurt
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic (depends on taste)
  • ½  tsp salt
  • ½  tsp pepper

Directions

  1. Clean the potatoes and slice them in ½ inch thick slices.
  2. Turn on the oven on 400° degrees.
  3. Put the potatoes in a bowl and sprinkle with 1 tbsp olive oil. Mix well making sure each piece of potato is covered.
  4. Spread out the potatoes on a baking pan (use foil if you don't have a non-stick pan). Drizzle on the salt.
  5. Cook the potatoes in the oven for about 10-20 minutes.
  6. Rinse and the remove seeds in the peppers. Cut them up into chunks.
  7. Rinse the fish and slice it into 2 inches thick slices.
  8. Put the peppers and fish next to the potatoes in the oven and drizzle on the rest of the olive oil, salt and pepper. Bake everything for an additional 10 minutes or until the potatoes and the fish are fully cooked.
  9. Pour the Greek yogurt into a bowl.
  10. Using a garlic press, press the garlic into the yogurt (taste after you add the first garlic to make sure it doesn’t get too strong before you add the second). Add the salt and pepper and stir.
  11. Put the potatoes and fish on a plate and serve with the sauce.
