Garlic is not only great to add flavor to a meal, it also provides lots of health benefits. When I was little and I had earaches my mom used to put some sauteed garlic in a cotton ball and place it in my ear. It worked every time! Garlic is high in a sulfur compound called Allicin, which is believed to bring most of its health benefits.

So don't be afraid of eating a lot of garlic. Just remember to have a mint or gum afterwards! :)
