I made some LCHF Seed Crackers last night. They are both delicious and filling, and easy to make. This is a super healthy choice for you who love crackers.
Recipe
- ¼ cup Sunflower seeds
- ¼ cup Pumpkin seeds
- 1 cup Ground flaxseed (aka linseed)
- ¼ cup Sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp Psyllium husks
- 2 tbsp almond flour
- ½ tsp salt
- 1/2 cup of Water (enough to make mixture firm but soft )
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 320ºF.
- Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl and stir well.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
- Immediately spread out the mix on a lined baking sheet
- Let stand for at least 15 minutes. The mixture will absorb all the water giving it a thick texture.
- Pour the mixture on to a lined baking sheet and spread evenly to the edges making sure there are no holes.
- Score the flattened mixture with a knife so that you can break into squares when cooked.
- Place tray in oven and bake for 40-60 minutes or until biscuits are cooked evenly. Keep an eye out for burning and reduce temperature next time if the edges cook before the centre is ready.
- Remove from oven, and break crackers along the scored lines into squares and cool on a cake rack.
Enjoy!
