How to make vegetables last longer

Vegetables are expensive so It's good to know how to take care of them to make them last as long as possible. I go to the grocery store on Sundays and spend about an hour cleaning and chopping veggies, and preparing meals. That hour saves me several hours during the week.

Below is how I store my favorite vegetables. I take them out of their original package, clean them and then wrap them in new plastic or place them in a new bag. Make sure the vegetables are all dry before you pack them up.
