Eat more spinach

Always, after a holiday filled with food, I long for healthy food and vegetables. Spinach is one of my favorites, since it is more filling than regular lettuce. Dark leafy greens like spinach are important for skin and hair, bone health, and provide protein, iron, vitamins and minerals. Below a two tasty and easy recipes I thought you would like. 

Chicken Spinach salad

  • A bag of spinach
  • 2 grilled chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
  • Olive oil, and pinch of salt and pepper

Sauteed Spinach with garlic

  • 1 bag of spinach
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
  1. Saute the garlic in the olive oil for a minute
  2. Add the spinach and cook until wilted
  3. Serve a side to chicken, steak of fish
