Clean Eating and LCHF recipe - Turkey meat sauce with pasta

A tasty recipe that is ready in minutes! I eat the turkey meat sauce with steamed broccoli instead of pasta. Absolutely delish!

  • Turkey meat sauce with pasta

Ingredients

  • 16 oz of ground turkey
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 pint of cherry tomatoes
  • Dried oregano
  • Whole wheat linguine
  • ½  cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Cut the tomatoes in half.
  2. Put water to boil and cook the pasta while you are making the sauce.
  3. Chop the onion and garlic finely.
  4. Heat up a frying pan and fry the ground turkey on high heat for about 3 minutes.
  5. Lower the heat and add the onion and garlic. Fry for another 2 minutes.
  6. Add water, salt and pepper (to your taste).
  7. Add the tomatoes and oregano and stir.
  8. Pour the pasta in a big serving bowl.
  9. Pour the meat sauce on top of the pasta.
  10. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top and serve.
