Clean Eating and LCHF recipe - Pasta with Chicken Sausage and Broccoli

It doesn't get easier than this Pasta with Chicken Sausage and Broccoli recipe! This is one of my favorite recipes for busy nights where there isn't enough time for cooking. Since I eat LCHF I just add more broccoli to my plate and skip the pasta. Yum!

  1. Slice the onion.
  2. Slice the sausage.
  3. Cut the broccoli into florets and slice the stems.
  4. Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain.
  5. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the onion, stirring often, for 3 minutes.
  6. Add the sausage and cook, stirring, until browned, 2 to 3 minutes.
  7. Add the broccoli and 1 ¼ cups water and simmer, covered, until the broccoli is tender, 5 to 6 minutes.
  8. Toss the pasta with the sausage mixture, including any remaining liquid, and the Parmesan.
