There is an old Zen saying - "You should sit in mediation for 20 minutes a day, unless you are too busy; then you should sit for an hour". It makes you think about your priorities and state of mind. Meditation has too many benefits to your body and soul not to practice it.

This week's meditation

Sit in a comfortable position. I recommend that you set a timer so that you don't get distracted by thinking about the time. Set if for 5-10 minutes, or longer if you are used to meditating.

Take a deep cleansing breath. Look at the picture below. Imagine yourself in the space. It's a warm, comfortable and serene day by the lake. The warm sun is energizing you and the quite lake is bringing your peace of mind. Acknowledge any thoughts that pop up in your mind, and let them pass. You are completely calm and happy. All is good.
